About us
..............................................................................................................................................................
We
established Artax's Angels Schnauzers because of our passion and love for the
Schnauzer breed.
As it usually is with most people that are dog lovers, we always had dogs in our
home, but not one of them possessed our hearts as a schnauzer. Up to this point
in our life we have had many breeds of dogs. They were all wonderful dogs and
have a special place in our hearts but, as a breed they can't compare to the
Schnauzer. The Schnauzer breed with its versatility is a very special one and
has taken over our hearts. The Schnauzer happy outgoing attitude combined with
their sporting nature makes them the perfect loving companion and in our opinion
the best breed there is.

Artax's Angels, why did we choose the name?
Our true big love for schnauzers began from a seven-week old, chubby puppy that
came to live with us in August of 2003 and changed our lives forever.
ARTAX was
the sweetest dog you could imagine. He awarded me and my husband an
unconditional love, love I have never received from another dog before.
Unfortunately, on December 30th, 2003, when he was only seven months old, his
innocent, grateful, friendly heart stopped beating. We experienced tremendous
amount of pain, something that only people who lost a similar battle can
understand. We knew that the spark in his eyes that was worth all the treasures
of this world will never shine again. Eventually the day has to come, when your
friend looks into your eyes for the last time, and your love, no matter how
strong, can not change it.
Artax's
Angels is a small show/hobby breeder dedicated to improving the Schnauzer breed
located in Northern Poland, where I strive for excellence in all facets of the
breed. Quality Breeding & Quality Care and dogs are the Highpoint of our life.
Our breeding started in 2005. We believe breeding is truly an art form, which
requires a deep passion, talent, focus, love and total commitment. In our
ambition to breed quality Schnauzer we do not hesitate to search world wide for
new exciting bloodlines.. We breed quality FCI registered
Schnauzers for health, temperament, conformation and beauty. Our Schnauzers have
World and Europa Winners, International and multiple champions in their lines.
All of our beloved Schnauzers are extended members of our family and are treated
as such. They live indoors in our house. We have a limited number of litters per
year (1-2) which allows us more time for each litter and allows our girls time
to rest in between litters. We breed in the hopes of producing our next show
prospect.
All our puppies are with pedigree, which is registered with the
Federation Cynologique
International.
We are members the
Polish Kennel Club and the
Pedigree is valid for all countries of FCI, AKC, CKC.
Our
puppies available only for homes where they will be beloved pets and companions,
which means to live WITHIN THE OWNER'S FAMILY not in the cage !
We place our pups with active, responsible caring individuals who has the time,
knowledge. Ability, facilities, patient, resources to provide a good, permanent
home where the pup will live a long, happy, secure life. The buyer must have
researched the breed, be willing to accept the responsibilities that goes along
with schnauzer ownership.
Our
pups are born in the house (not in the pen or kennel). Dam is being monitored
and receives veterinary care before, during and after giving birth. Babies stay
in the house all the time and have daily contact with people and family pets to
assure their early socialization which we find essential for their future
development into intelligent and agreeable individuals. After 3-4 weeks puppies
begin to run in our garden, where they can exercise in the open and take
advantage of the sun and fresh air. This process enables them to build strong
bodies and learn canine social skills - at that time we introduce them to our
adult dogs, let them explore terrain on our property - they can also familiarize
themselves from the safety of enclosed runs with city traffic and sounds of the
busy street.
Since breeding is only a hobby of ours we might not have a pup ready for you
tomorrow so reserving one of our dogs might require time and patience. Our show
prospect puppies are available to approved show homes.
Our schnauzers
BASTIAN
(Inter Multi Ch. Aga-Ton Retman)
was born on November 11th,2003 and
became our medicine for the pain and agony we experience after loosing Artax. He
came to our home at three am on January 1st, 2004, having spent the last few
hours in a car and the New Years at a gas station refilling the car. All the way
home he did not sleep, but he did not cry once.
He is more crazy and wild and has confidence when it comes to strangers. But he
loves to sit on you lap, hug and look out the window. He is very energetic, it’s
difficult to keep him in one place for even few seconds (unless he sleeps), and
he is always all over the place . It’s because of him, we have smiles on our
faces again. I love him how he stares at me when my attention is directed at
“someone” else, as if he was saying “I’ll wait, because I know you will hug me
in a minute”. I love him for truthfulness, for the way he treats his girls and
for the noises he makes when he goes to sleep.
Bastian is absolutely beautiful and quite charming. It's no wonder he is so
amazing with his background. Bastian's pedigree is astonishing with multiple
champions in his pedigree. Bastian has sired litters here and at other kennels.
AISZA
(Beti Dolina Rosomaka)
was born on October 14th, 2003, and was almost four
months when she came to us. We never even imagined that we would have second
dog, but I guess it was meant to be different. Right after Artax died I sent an
ad to almost every available source, that I’m looking for a medium schnauzer,
and almost a month later I received an email with a picture of five puppies. I
looked at them and knew that one of them (the one sitting in the middle) was the
one that we were missing. He was so much like our Artax when he was little, that
we couldn’t think of anything else but when we would go and get him. We went,
not knowing anything, and when we got there it turned out that the puppy we
chose was actually a girl. She was gorgeous and we took her. On February 7th,
after 1200 km drive, Bastian had a little sister and we had hearts full of
happiness. Why do we love her? For her individualism, that she is faithful to us
and us only, and that she does not express her love anytime, but when she does,
it’s full of truthfulness and it’s the biggest gift to us. Aisza is a lovely
female, who always apologizes for everyone else, and when she does, it’s in a
way I can not describe.
She is beautiful, but unfortunately doesn't like to cooperate in the show ring,
so we will let her live out her days here as a brood bitch. She proved to be a
wonderful mother and brood bitch producing wonderful pups. Aisza is mother of A,
E and H litters Artax's Angels and is now officially retired (already spayed).
We hope to have her around to enjoy a few more years.
BUBA
(Inter Multi Ch. Blue Moon)
was born on August 28, 2004. When Buba came
to us it was us intention to breed from her as she has new bloodlines which are
much needed here.
It was difficult to show her to our dogs at home. Buba made us a great surprise,
she wasn’t scared and gained a threatening posture and started barking at our
dogs. Everyone welcomed her very well!
Her third litter was to Inter & Multi Ch. Dronas Jules Verne and we keep a one
girl (Ch. Destrukcja Artax's Angels), and gave to Maria Sarol. This way her
lines are continued in our kennel.
FRODO
(Inter Multi Ch. Dronas Jules Verne)
is our first import from Russia.
This beautiful dog turned our breeding program around and made us re-think what
we were looking for in a schnauzer. He's a amazing male! Twice res.World
Champion, International and Multiple Championships before the age of 4. He's a
very loving, biddable and intelligent. Visitors quickly find out he's quite the
character always willing to grin, talk and roll for a belly rub.
He's is a perfect gentleman to the lady dogs that have come to visit for a date.
Frodo has sired litters here and at other kennels. In the 2,5 years many of his
offsprings have become Champions. We have been fortunate enough to be blessed
with such a good dog.
GAJA
(Ch. Destrukcja Artax's Angels)
is co-owned with Maria Sarol (live in Olsztyn, PL)
Gaja grew into a wonderful and charming dog with beautiful long head, dark eye,
exellent angulations, fantastic expression with super temperament. She is a very
successful show dog. All our travels on dog shows were very successful! She
carries the same type as her father Inter, Multi Champion Dronas Jules Verne.
This pretty girl has everything we could dream of in a schnauzer. A 100%
Schnauzer :-)
Her first litter was to World & Europa & Inter & Multi Ch. Chivas Grand Calvera.
And I can say that she was a very caring mother and she gave us wonderful
puppies. Gabriel (Fin), Gucci (Bg), Guinness (Rus) and Giulietta (Rus) we hope
to see at shows in the future. We are looking forward to hear all about it.
KLARA
(J.Ch. Jetaime Talhi Galiana)
is co-owned with our fantastic "auntie" Żaneta Mazurek (live in Gdynia/Słupsk,
PL).
Klara came to us from Top
russian kennel in march 2010.
Very pretty bitch, feminine in expression with a excellent conformation. She is
wonderful to look at - standing or moving. Lovely head, strong, well-boned with
an excellent forechest ... hard to show because she can't stop moving even for a
second :)
Her beauty was appreciated by many judges, what makes me happy since I have high
hopes for her. Klara has a very joyful temperament, she is cheerful and
interested in the world surrounding her. I get the impression that she is
tireless. She's ready to play at all times. I love it !
Our schnauzer's family
